Biochar production, nutrient enhancement and application at farm level in Nepal – Hans-Peter Schmidt, Ithaka Institute, 2015.  

This 16 min video provides practical details of the farm-scale production, enrichment and use of biochar in different localities and with different crops in Nepal. It explains how biochar is produced from wood and crop wastes, enriched by composting together with cow’s urine or manure, and applied close to the roots of plants. Yields were increased by 100-300%.
